These questions are for an eight-minute video.

Brief, beautifully presented, highly detailed, staring The Wallace Collection’s fine examples of fifteenth-century arms and armour. An investigation of how artefacts and sources can be combined to add real depth to understanding, and bust myths that accrue around romanticised events. Plate armour, chain-mail, bascinet helmets, funerary effigies and written sources are combined. The video covers: the historical background to Agincourt; a model for class-war; the real weight of armour; design of armour; armour reveals archery techniques, written sources agree; funerary effigies as sources. Presented by Dr Tobias Campwell. A fascinating dip into historiography.

Differentiated! Both versions look very similar, but “B” version has subtle clues. Answer sheet. Questions right up to the end, no slack time! 18 questions for the 8’ 03” film. A very thorough summary, ideal for revision. .doc and .pdf of all sheets, link to video on all sheets. Very easy to mark.

Please check that you can access the video before you download these sheets. All the links work when I upload. If my links no longer work, the videos may still be found elsewhere on YouTube.
