An interactive AI Ethics simulation exploring artificial intelligence, global security, decision-making and the consequences of relying on technology.
What happens when artificial intelligence becomes involved in decisions that could determine the future of humanity? Can AI make better decisions than humans, and what happens when those decisions go wrong?
In this engaging, scenario-based game, students take on the role of decision-makers during an escalating international crisis between the United States and China. Across ten challenging scenarios, they must consider intelligence reports, AI recommendations, cybersecurity threats and competing political pressures. Every decision has consequences, and students must balance national security, international stability and responsible AI development.
The simulation encourages students to think critically about AI Ethics, algorithmic bias, human oversight, accountability, cybersecurity and the risks of automated decision-making. Students will discover that even apparently sensible decisions can produce unexpected outcomes, while competitive pressures can encourage governments and organisations to take dangerous shortcuts.
