Albert Le Blanc Literacy Pack

A set of resources based on the book by Nick Butterworth.
The literacy pack includes an introductory PowerPoint, 20 worksheets and 20 Smart board notebook 10 files.

• The PowerPoint introduces the book, covering author, title, illustrator, blurb, pre-reading questions, post-reading questions. The PowerPoint also highlights possible unfamiliar vocabulary and offers an idea for a writing activity.
• The worksheets are at 2 levels:
• Level 1 – alliteration, differentiating common and proper nouns, counting syllables, using contractions, writing questions, a true/false/can’t tell activity, using a or an, identifying nouns and verbs, sequencing pictures and writing captions for pictures.
• Each of these worksheets is supported by an interactive Smart board 10 notebook file to aid teaching and provide extra practice for pupils.
• Level 2 – matching halves of sentences, true/false, counting syllables, alliteration, a missing words activity, matching words and pictures, sorting pictures, alphabetical order, sequencing pictures and writing captions for pictures.
• Again, each of these worksheets is supported by an interactive Smart board 10 notebook file to aid teaching and provide extra practice for pupils.
