An opera singer disappears. Rumours grow. Can your pupils separate evidence from an irresistible story?

In this fictional investigation, teams explore the mystery of Camille Monfort through a biographical account, a disappearance report, a museum panel, a theatre account, an alleged love letter and a local historian’s claim. Pupils compare conflicting accounts, question the reliability of sources and build an explanation supported by evidence.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • One complete 20-page PDF with a print guide
  • 6 contrasting evidence sources with individual document designs
  • Six pages of scaffolded reading questions
  • A final-deductions worksheet

PRINTING AND PREPARATION
The complete pack is supplied as a PDF. Use the print guide to select the pupil pages you need and keep teacher notes and solutions separate. Colour printing preserves the visual details. The download is the PDF printing edition; editable Word files are not included.
