American Revolutionary War - UKS2 BOOM Cards™ Comprehension Bundle

Six BOOM Card™ reading comprehension activities with comprehension and grammar questions about some of the key battles and events from the American War of Independence. The digital activities are ideal for distance learning and perfect for students in Year 5 or Year 6 learning about the American Revolution and U.S. History.

The individual resources look into:
1 – Overview of the American Revolutionary War
2 – Boston Tea Party
3 – Siege of Boston
4 – Battles of Trenton & Princeton
5 – Treaty of Paris
6 – George Washington

Ideal for distance learning, the activities can be completed on tablets, phones or computers. The resources also come in PDF format so they can be printed and used in the classroom.

For first time BOOM Card™ users, the resources come with an explanation of how to assign the cards to your class, and have lots of useful links to support you using the activities.

The activities require NO PREP and have several bodies of texts that students need to read through thoroughly; then they can use the texts to find the comprehension and grammar answers. The BOOM Cards™ activities are self-marking, with a teacher answer sheet provided in the PDF.

We also specialise in play scripts, we have a William Shakespeare collection with Richard III, Macbeth and Hamlet. We also have a good selection of Christmas play scripts including Elf, The Santa Clause and A Christmas Carol.
