An Inspector Calls: context and intro

This set of three lessons, with some drafting for lessons four and five, is intended to introduce both the context of the play, and some of the key skills required to answer questions 1 and 2 on AQA Language Paper 2 (non-fiction). These lessons were planned and delivered to a very low ability Year 9 class, so are ideal for lower Year 9 and Year 10 sets. The tasks on retrieval, identifying explicit and implicit information and on comparing two texts could also be adapted for use for Year 11.
