Title Question: Who is responsible for the death of Eva Smith?

This is a fun resource/lesson for if you have finished reading An Inspector Calls and you either need to refresh student’s memories, or you want to consolidate their understanding of the plot, the characters, and the sequence of events. There are real lines from the play and the rest is abridged and condensed. Can easily be read through in 50 minutes. It is split accurately into 3 acts as they are in the play.

Contents:
PowerPoint on dyslexic friendly background (light yellow 3)
Scripts - Mr B, Mrs B, Eric, Sheila, Gerald the Inspector and Social Responsibility.

As the teacher, I read the Inspector’s lines but this could easily be read by a capable student. I printed a few of each character so every student had something to read along with and follow. On reflection, it might be better for each student to have a copy of the Inspector’s lines.
