Key Terms Bingo
Fun way to revise key terms or punctuate the topic.
Includes ten illustrated bingo cards and a QR code linking to a spinner which includes all the words used.
The cards will need printing.
I would recommend laminating a set; I have been using the same set for over a decade now. Whiteboard markers are the best for marking (if laminating).
Now and Then Comparison
Comparing everyday life in the 21st century and during the time of the Ancient Egyptians. Pupils draw or write in the ancient equivalent of six features of modern life. They will need to conduct some research - independent, pair, group - to find the answers.
Could be adapted so that pupils note down their initial ideas, conduct the research and then evaluate the difference between their expectations and reality.
