This is a resource which serves an an introduction to the foreign policy of Harold Wilson and the Labour government of 1964-70. The first half looks at the reasons why Britain decided not to join the war against Vietnam and a video hyperlink is also included. The second half of the lesson tackles relations with Europe during this period and examines the arguments for and against joining the EEC.
There is a set of notes to accompany the lesson and students will need access to the AQA Sally Waller textbook.
