This is a set of powerpoint slides which have been inspired by the resource created by AQA Emerging Identities.
These slides are on the extracts for Paper 1.
The slides are created using the activities created in the resource booklet by AQA with added ideas and model paragraphs. This overview can be found online by searching ‘AQA Emerging Identities’
The extracts from this resource included in this powerpoint are Small Worlds by Caleb Azumah Nelson and Abi Daré, from The Girl with the Louding Voice .
In addition I have created resources using extracts from The Perks of Being a Wallflower and The Marriage Portrait.
I have not been able to include the extracts from these books due to copyright however I have given page numbers as to where you can find these.
This is a great resource to use to get your students thinking about the skills needed for English Language.
