AQA Enlgish Language A-Level - Question 3 - Paper 2

Two lessons covering the Language and Discourses section of paper 2 in the AQA English Lanugage A-level paper.

I have included two articles on the topic of gendered language and pronoun use which the students should analyse. (I printed them in A3 side by side and lead the annotations) we then wrote about them.
Both lessons start with a terminology test which my class need but you may wish to discard.

I have also included a model answer. It is not a full answer but a solid introduction to a 40 mark answer.
At the bottom of the sheet at the three Assessment Objectives covered in this question, I asked my students to assign a colour to each AO and go through the model colouring where these Objectives were met.
They then wrote their own answer.
Depending on the ability of your group (mine are weak) this may take up to four lessons but it is comprehensive in approach…if I do say so myself! :)
