This 17-slide AQA GCSE Physics Foundation deck teaches forces and weight. It starts with key vocabulary (force, contact and non-contact forces, gravity), then defines weight and compares mass with weight in a table covering units, scalar and vector, and how each is measured. It introduces W = m × g with a formula triangle and finishes with common mistakes, exam tips and a six-point summary. The challenge is low to moderate, suitable for grades 1–4 or a first pass for middle-ability students. Every calculation is broken into four steps (equation, values, substitute, answer with units). The worked examples are followed by gap-fill practice questions with separate answer slides, and the numbers are easy (g = 10 N/kg, whole-number answers). The hardest items are rearranging for mass and the Earth-versus-Moon question with g = 1.6 N/kg. There is little stretch: no question asks students to find g even though the triangle shows how, there are no unfamiliar contexts or multi-step problems, and it doesn’t cover centre of mass, the idea that weight is proportional to mass, or questions that use g = 9.8 N/kg, all of which appear in the AQA specification and papers.
