This is a lesson that I made to help teach the AQA Further Maths Course with high-ability Year 11s. The lesson encapsulates everything that is needed for the exam with regards to surds (simplifying, multiplying, dividing, adding and subtracting, expanding brackets and rationalising). There are plenty of examples throughout for each skill. Most of these examples have worked solutions on the slides, however there are the odd few that don’t as I did them on the board with my group at the time. Despite this, I have added the answers to these slides; if you click on the green ticks on these slides, they reveal the answers to the examples. There are also plenty of questions to accompany each part of the lesson and there is also an additional two worksheets attached that can be handed out as extensions or as homework as well as some exam questions from past papers.

An amazing resource, this is a complete package of resources on Surds, including a Bingo activity. I love the presentation and layout of this package. Thanks for sharing.
