This scheme of work aims to introduce pupils to a range of features of gothic literature. This could be used as a unit of work in lower school or as a way in to engage with the AQA GCSE English Literature Paper 1. Tasks are designed to give pupils an understanding of different gothic texts and includes a creative writing task where they can demonstrate their learning in a fun and creative way!
