AQA- Infection and Response- Culturing Microbes (2 Lessons)

As we have completed the required practical for culturing microorganisms during the Cell Biology topic, these lessons focus more on uses for bacterial growth and patterns of bacterial growth. The first lesson does have a practical for students to grow their own bacteria which can be used in the following lesson. If this fails an alternative worksheet is available to students to calculate area of bacterial colonies. A graph task into bacterial growth completes the two lessons, which an alternative version available for lower ability students.
