Lesson 2: Model answer to build a success criteria followed by Personification exercises. Then a differentiated (by source) task that mirrors AQA Paper 1 Section B.
Lesson 3: Making the mundane exciting. Using a range of sources, class identify how something relatively mundane (such as a newspaper report about a politician) can be made more exciting through language choice before using the skills on a completely unseen picture.
