This is the final part of a unit of work preparing students for their AQA Paper 1 English Language exam. 4 PowerPoints guide teachers (and students) through all the activities. In these lessons students are introduced to the skills required for the Descriptive Writing section and how to create an extended metaphor. For the Narrative Writing question there are planning and preparation materials for writing a story about a case of Mistaken Identity. There is also a Skills Booklet using an extract from ‘The Shrunken Man’ to recap on all the Paper 1 skills.
An overview of the whole Unit of Work is also included.
Each lesson/PowerPoint includes a Knowledge Retrieval activity and a Hinge Point Question.
