Differentiated revision resource that contains all of the formulas that need to be recalled by students for the AQA Physics Unit 1 examinations (Triple and Trilogy) with practice exam style questions and answers for each formula (apply, rearrange and convert).

The aim of these flash cards is to improve the recall and application of the formula required in the AQA GCSE 9-1 Physics examinations. They have proved very popular with students as a way of developing their confidence of the maths content within physics unit 1 resulting in dramatic progress in this area.

Includes SI unit conversion hint sheet. Included is a PDF guaranteed to print out correctly formatted and .ppt version in case you wish to make any modifications.

Instructions
The front of the flash card asks the user to recall an equation that links values e.g. the formula that links energy, power and time and to write the SI units of each. This should be done on a separate piece of paper before the flash card is turned over.
Turn over the flash card to check recall of the formula and units. 1 point for each correct section.
On the back there are 3 differentiated exam style questions. Solve these questions (writing down all working out) using the formula and units above. You can use the conversion hint sheet below to help with the conversion questions. Solve all questions before turning over the card again to reveal the answers (upside down on the front). 1 point for each correct answer.
Make pile of cards that you scored 0,1,2,3,4 and 5 marks on. Take a break and then try again on the cards that you did not score 5 marks on. If you can move all cards into the 5 marks pile you will have an excellent knowledge of the formula required for the AQA physics exam.

7 slides, which you have to mess around with folding and sticking because you can't print back to back. Not good value for money.

Excllent resource. Even the less able kids enjoyed using this, and learned a lot of equations.
