An exciting but GCSE focused lesson that includes connect, activate, demonstrate and consolidate activities as well as extension tasks.
Students consider friendship and nostalgia then examine the songs, Castle on the Hill and The River, as if they were poems. Students then complete Paper 2 Section C questions using a writing frame to support. AQA GCSE mark scheme is on the slide so students can peer mark their essays.
