Students have to show their working out for both the area and circumference of a circle from either the radius or the diameter.

As an extension, put a circle, give the area or circumference and get students to work backwards.

This is supposed to be an extremely simple exercise for pupils to have some practice with. My bottom set year 9s really struggled with the difference between being given the radius or the diameter.

Feel free to adapt in any way. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the worksheet. Just what I was looking for; some simple practice questions! Like you, I have some low ability students who just need to keep doing the basics for a while and this should fit the bill :)
