Assessment statements for students

These are some simple assessment statements that we have created for you KS3 students to show how to improve their writing within History. The steps look at the concepts of causation, using sources and interpretations with their writing, writing better arguments and evaluating sources.

They can be used together or separately but we have found it has helped students to understand how to gain more marks on these styles of questions. They are done in the first person so students can begin to articulate how to improve more.
