ATLs Group discussion worksheets

In the MYP, Approaches to Learning should be discussed, explored and taught, rather than simply intrinsically used. These worksheets use five different scenarios (for five groups) to explore how life experiences use different skills: Communication, social, thinking, research and self-management skills.

On the sheets, students write how (or just discuss and feedback), in the scenario, they might practically use each skill to enhance the outcome of the scenario.

They can then relate the skills to their school work, and begin to correlate tasks, activities and outcomes with these ATLs.
