A series of lessons to support the teaching of B1.2 Cell Division on the new 9-1 GCSE specification. The lessons may need adapting/changing for your classes.
Lesson 1 - Cell Division (comes with cell division diagrams for students to annotate)
Lesson 2 - Cell Cycle - comes with a literacy activity to prepare students for 6 mark questions in the exam. Mark scheme at the end.
Lesson 3 - requires a computer room for students to research information on stem cells. There is a task sheet instructing the students and also a work sheet to complete either by hand on on the computer. The presentation goes over some of the key stem cell dilemmas for when back in the classroom to check their understanding.
