This lesson introduces students to the basic structures (organelles) found in animal and plant cells. Students will learn about cells, what they are and the organelles that make them. They will learn to identify and describe the functions of these key organelles and then compare similarities and differences between plant and animal cells. This lesson has questions which are tiered in difficulty and have answers the slide after each set of questions. This ensures it is suitable for specialists and non specialists alike as well as providing scaffolding for spelling and key words for students.
