The children then list different personality traits and look at an example poem using similes to describe themselves. Includes a copy of the example poem and word banks of personality traits.
A great activity for Transition Day or the first week back at school. The poems could be displayed around a photo or picture of the child. Could also be used as an English lesson on similes or an ‘All About Me’ activity within PSHE.
