This lesson is designed to take students through Grace Davie's theory 'Belief Without Belonging'.

The lesson involves an independent research task which has a skeleton structure to it, making it fully adaptable to the needs of the class by the teacher. There is also a ready made 'pairs' game which helps revise previous content - this would make an excellent starter.

There is a differentiated sociologist chart to be filled in as part of a class task.

All timings for the lesson are incorporated into the PowerPoint - this lesson has been designed to be fully adaptable to any length of time. Equally, there is a suggested homework task at the end for your students.

I hope you enjoy this lesson, please do leave feedback.
