This comprehensive PowerPoint is a great way of varying how children recall maths facts! Although it is directly linked to Big Maths and is organised into the categories Learn Its schools do not need to teach through Big Maths in order to use this exciting resource!
The document contains addition facts including doubles, near doubles and number bonds to ten plus more! Incredibly all the times tables to 12 are included and their corresponding division facts.
This resource can be used incredibly simply on the computers or it can be adapted by adults to target certain skills and targets for individuals.
Children and adults are able to select either a set of questions or a mixture of facts from a simple menu. The file can be saved as a presentation only to enable ease of use and access to younger children who cannot yet operate PowerPoint.
This resource can also be personalised (for those who have time!) and adapted through one of the initial pages. I placed a photo of each child in my class in the colourful boxes. I then created a hyperlink to the set of facts that each child needed to work on. There are teachers pages with a guide to enable adults to quickly identify the page number needed in the hyperlink. Although this can take a little time it means that younger children (and even older ones!) are able to simply click on their image and their Learn Its will begin to appear!
