This is a Black History Month assembly that focuses on why we have black history month, so it takes a look at the national curriculum and its emphasis on white history and then how this happened with a focus on white Europeans being the victors and black and minorities being the losers.
The assembly then goes on to discuss how to we recongnise black history effectively and go further than simply having a month dedicated to it.
All slides have notes attached and it essentially could be delievered once you have read through the notes.
