This is a slideshow explaining how the Black Lives Matter movement started, what it means and the protests in June 2020. It can be used for an assembly or PSHE lesson in UKS2. It includes an explanation of systemic racism and the reasons for the protests. The activity at the end encourages students to make their own placards with examples from the protests in London 2020. It is an excellent resource for fostering healthy conversation about diversity, inclusion and race.
