The aim of this unit is to enable students to form a small band and compose a blues song by utilising drums, vocals, chords (on guitar or keyboard) and bass. Within this resource pack there are documents that will help support the learning and also differentiate tasks accordingly. These lessons are aimed at KS3 students but can be used for KS4 to teach them the basics of the blues.

Within this 6 lesson pack of resources you will receive:
- Scheme of learning
- Student booklet with chord progressions, bass tabs and all necessary resources that the learners will need
- The blues bass line play along video. Students can hear what the bass line and chords sound like when playing either the easy, medium or difficult versions. Students can also play along to this video when practicing their improvisations
