Each activity is aimed to; promote a love of reading, open discussions and book talk, engage children, encourage them to read a text to find evidence supporting their ideas and understanding and to just generally have some fun!
As an experienced primary school teacher with many year in UKS2, I have used these activities and ideas in reading cafes involving parents, on World Book days or just generally as a way to get children engaged with their reading.
