Aimed at KS2 but could be edited for younger or indeed older.
Place the clues around your school site (indoors/outdoors or a mixture of both)
Can be made simpler by placing copies of books with the clues.
Children complete the grid (from left to right) with the first letter of the answer.
The letters in the greyed out boxes should spell ‘Lose yourself in a book’.
Could be done as a guided reading activitiy or whole class timed/competitive event to raise profile of reading. Maybe a special occasion such as world book day.
