A KS3 scheme on Boy by Roald Dahl, approx. 28 lessons long. This scheme of work is aimed at children in year 6 or year 7. It goes through each chapter of Boy by Roald Dahl, giving students space to attempt different types of extended writing inspired by the autobiography. There are support and challenge tasks along the way. There is also a long-term homework project for students to write their own autobiography. It’s not very academically rigorous: more suited to transition schemes or end of year schemes to consolidate learning. Assessments not included. Any imagery related to the autobiography belongs to Quentin Blake.
