BREXIT Citizenship

Four - five hours of materials for teaching the history, present and future of Brexit - useful for KS3 / 4 or GCSE Citizenship.


  1. One hour, fully resourced lesson (PowerPoint, worksheets, clip tasks, activities, all differentiated three ways) all about the Britain’s future after Brexit.
    The lesson is adaptable, easy to follow and fully differentiated. It could be used in Citizenship, PSHCE, Politics or Tutor Time. It is suitable for KS3 or KS4.

  2. 2 x 30 minute form time or Citizenship sessions, consisting of 1 x KS3/4 PowerPoint, activities, differentiated tasks - second session is a 30 minute reading comprehension and literacy task.

  3. a 30 minute tutor time or Citizenship session all about what a No Deal Brexit would mean for the UK and the arguments for and against this.

  4. An assembly to explain what’s going on with Brexit, right now - in very simple terms.

  5. A One hour lesson originally used for a Year 10 Citizenship class which focuses in on what exactly the EU is and why people wanted to leave or remain in the first place.

  6. A 30-40 minute session on Nigel Farage and The Brexit Party, exploring how they are like Marmite, polarising the nation.
