Ten questions that make pupils actually do bubble sort, not just describe it: trace a pass, count comparisons and swaps, explain when it stops, predict a Python program and fix a broken swap.
Every likely wrong answer has its own feedback. A pupil who sorts the whole list when asked for one pass is told: “That’s fully sorted. One pass only carries the biggest item to the end.”
- Lists can be typed with or without commas: 1, 3, 2 and 1 3 2 both count.
- Works in any web browser, offline. No logins, no accounts, no pupil data.
- Printable worksheet with answers for lessons without computers.
