This lesson plan aims to teach students not only how to effectively use commonly used phrases and vocabulary, but also to put together a well structured, and thoroughly thought through and convincing presentation.. To this end, I have used two resources (a video and a text) which the students have to analyze and summarize. In the video, Nancy Duarte analyzes two outstanding speeches - 'I have a dream&' by Martin Luther King, and Steve Jobs&'; iPhone launch. This business English lesson plan is suitable for upper-intermediate, advanced and proficiency level students (B2, C1 and C2).
