C2 ECPE Cloze Tests: 60 Tests + Answer Key

C2-level cloze practice for the Michigan ECPE: 60 one-page cloze tests with 600 four-option multiple-choice questions, organised in six sets of ten, plus a teacher key that explains every answer.

Each test is a short, engaging passage on a different topic, including the placebo effect, the bystander effect, survivorship bias, the ship of Theseus, Goodhart’s law, the printing press, light pollution and the uncanny valley.

The questions test the grammar and vocabulary that the ECPE cloze section demands:

• Linkers and discourse markers (nonetheless, whereas, even if)
• Relative and reference words (wherein, whereby, whatever)
• Inversion and advanced sentence patterns
• Collocations and fixed expressions
• Precise vocabulary choice in context

What’s included (2 PDF files, US Letter):

• Student edition: 60 tests in six sets of ten, one test per page, in a clear exam-style layout
• Teacher edition: complete answer sequences for every test, with a brief explanation of each correct answer

Ideal for Michigan ECPE preparation and any advanced C2-level grammar and vocabulary practice. Suitable for class practice, homework, timed exam practice or independent study.
