Cambridge Global Perspectives — Stage 6 (Primary)

Six ready-to-teach Stage 6 (Year 6) enquiry Challenges for Cambridge Global Perspectives — the top of primary, bridging to Lower Secondary. Playful yet thought-provoking, child-led and skills-based. Skill descriptors at their highest primary level (planning research, comparing perspectives and beginning to bring ideas together, judging sources and noticing bias, explaining how a perspective changed). Each Challenge = five ~40-minute lessons, 13 files.

Challenge 1 — Rich and Poor
Global Perspectives Stage 6: Rich and Poor (Fairness Enquiry)
Children investigate how lives differ around the world, why the gap between rich and poor exists, and which ways of making the world fairer really help. Thought-provoking but sensitive, never about individual children. Prompts, sources, rubric and journal.

Challenge 2 — Sport for All
Global Perspectives Stage 6: Sport for All (Enquiry Challenge)
Children explore how sport brings people together around the world, what makes it fair and open to all (including para sport), and which ways of including everyone really help. Engaging and active. Full teacher guides, rubric and thinking journal.

Challenge 3 — Our Digital Future
Global Perspectives Stage 6: Our Digital Future (Tech & AI)
A forward-looking enquiry into how technology is changing life, what people think about new technology like AI, and how to use technology well and safely. Children weigh views and make a pledge. Safeguarding-aware. Prompts, sources, rubric and journal.

Challenge 4 — Peace and Getting Along
Global Perspectives Stage 6: Peace and Getting Along (Enquiry)
Children investigate why people and groups disagree, how two sides can see the same thing differently, and which ways of building peace really work. Handled gently and calmly. Full teacher guides, rubric and thinking journal.

Challenge 5 — Feeding the World
Global Perspectives Stage 6: Feeding the World (Food Security)
Children discover how food is grown and shared, why some have plenty and others too little, and which ways of feeding the world fairly and sustainably really help. Sensitive about food and families. Prompts, sources, rubric and journal.

Challenge 6 — My Global Footprint (Capstone)
Global Perspectives Stage 6: My Global Footprint (Capstone)
The primary capstone. Children draw on their whole Global Perspectives journey to see how their everyday choices affect the world, how the big challenges connect, and which real actions make a difference — ending with a class ‘global citizens’ pledge wall. The perfect bridge to Lower Secondary.
