CAS (Creativity, Activity and Service) Student and Parent Contract

It may seem a little strict to have a CAS contract, but it has been useful for me as a CAS Coordinator every year. I usually include it at the end of the handbook as an acknowledgement that the student has read through and understood the essential documents and materials for the programme. I include a parent signature as an opportunity for students to explain to parents what is involved in the programme, and how there may be some need for experiences outline of regular school hours. Lastly, if a student does becomes at risk of not passing the CAS requirements, it is great to use the document have during a meeting or interview about the commitments they made at the beginning of the programme.
