My class mind-mapped physical and mental disabilities, chose some in order to describe what difficulties may be faced by people with those disabilities and any prejudice that they perceived those people may be subjected to.
We watched the advert on YouTube 'time to talk' about a man returning to work after an absence for mental illness, then looked at this ppt about a paralympic swimming champion. There is also a link to a short interview with her.

The pupils should enagage with this as Eleanor is about the same age. An interesting slant on prejudice that I hadn't rhought about before - could this be tied in with an exam question?
