Course topics
Cerebral palsy as a lifelong condition, movement and co-ordination, spastic, dyskinetic, ataxic and mixed presentations, associated needs, causes and risk factors, developmental concerns, assessment and diagnosis. Also covers early and ongoing support, communication, choice, participation, multidisciplinary care, physiotherapy goals and awareness of safe positioning and handling.

The toolkit includes course information and learner forms, attendance and sign-in/out registers, session and lesson plans, trainer notes, checklists, activity and discussion records, action plans, knowledge-check and assessment record templates, declarations, evaluation forms, audit records and a certificate register.
