Resources for composing music with an Enquiry-based approach using the Conceptual lenses of Chance and Consequence. Students will listen to and understand Carl Orff’s ‘O Fortuna’ from Carmina Burana, explore the aleatoric approach to composing and create music entirely from components generated randomly! The project can be used with upper KS2 and lower KS3 and covers all the National Curriculum components for both Key Stages. Resources include detailed slides with instructions, links and information, an overview of the resources which are adaptable to your needs and a worksheet for part of the random generating task. A whole lot of fun mixed in with the learning - for the students too!!
