This is a worksheet to review learning about the Yalta and Potsdam Conferences to address the inquiry question: how far was there change between the Yalta and Potsdam Conferences?
The resource has five pages, the first and second pages are a table for students to complete. The third and fourth pages are suggested teacher answers. The fifth page includes has teaching notes explaining how to teach the activity including relevant criteria to decide change and consequence. There are two extension activities for faster learners or higher achievers.
The conceptual lenses that have been selected for this class is change and the related concept of consequence. It is relevant for inquiries into the origins of the Cold War. One advantage of this worksheet is it targets one key area in the origins of the Cold War where there is frequent confusion over chronology, and it helps students separate the two conferences. By giving a short summary, this helps embed some contextual knowledge for students.
