Love the riddle to encourage thinking at the beginning of the lesson. Clear planning, easily adaptable.

A very useful resource - I liked the idea of beginning the lesson with 'I am white and fluffy...........' It allows the children to develop literacy skills alongside their Science. The web link takes you to Hamilton Trust where you will have to register to access all the resources.
