Christmas Baubles, coordinates and midpoints

This was used with a mid-level KS3 class. Its objectives were to interpret geometrical infomation from coordinates. It brought out considerations such as height, width and symmetry.
The activity is differentiationable (is that a word!?) as pupils can find the midpoints through plotting coordinates, comparing the x and y ordinates or by averaging the corresponding ordinates when they have explored the activity.

There are some ideas for questions on some of the slides and printable sheets at the end of the powerpoint for the starter and for support in differentiating the main activity.
