A website aimed at form groups in secondary school based on the core GCSE curriculum. A Christmas scene each day and with three anagrams puzzles each of which must be solved before you get the next. A cryptic Christmas themed clue is given for each word and there is a piano instrumental in the background which last just over 3 minutes. Can students solve all three before the music ends? New set of three each day for the last 10 days of term (19th December).
There is a link to the complete site in the Power Point file, but your school will need to allow Netlify access or at least access to this Netlify url.
If not you can easily host it on a shared drive on the school network. Make a folder on a shared drive (name it anything I will use activity as the name) that staff have access to. To the folder copy the files index.html, style.txt, script.txt and jingle.mp3. Then rename style.txt to style.css and script.txt to script.js. Next make a new folder inside activity and name it assets it must be called assets (case sensitive). Open this folder and copy all the image (.jpeg) files to it. Do Not Rename These. Double click the index.html file to run the site or use a hyperlink to it to send it to wider staff. The site is static and collects no data. I use the Netlify free account so bandwith is limited, in the (unlikely) eventI get too much traffic it will become unavailable and you will have to deploy locally.
