This resource was originally made to be used at Christmas time but it can be used simply to promote cultural awareness in Spanish-speaking countries. It is primarily a reading activity and each text card is on a different aspect of Christmas in Mexico so the class can be split into groups of 3 or 4 and each group gets a different aspect and the corresponding worksheet. Then pupils are given time to prepare a group presentation on their aspect of Mexican Christmas which they share with the rest of the class (opportunity for peer assessment).
