This series of resources have been created for those Teaching and Studying the City & Guilds Employability Skill Award and Certificate (5546)

The qualification itself is made up of many Units all of which require assessment that can present evidence and demonstrate that all learning outcomes have been met.

These Workbooks include various challenges, activities and tests to prove learners understanding and collate the evidence required to confirm they have met all outcomes and can be used as a Final Assignment.

These can be completed by the individual learners as a final assignment or as a group if delivered as a workbook and would normally follow 2 - 3 sessions of underpinning knowledge, group activities, research tasks and relevant delivery.

This particular instalment in the series focuses on the importance of Interpersonal Relationships and covers the following criteria.

UNIT 434 - Interpersonal Relationships

  1. Understand interpersonal relationships.

1.1 describe what is meant by the term interpersonal relationships
1.2 explain the importance of developing positive interpersonal relationships
1.3 describe the differences between interacting with individuals and as part of a group
1.4 describe qualities important in developing interpersonal relationships
1.5 describe qualities important in developing group relationships.

  1. Understand how to interact positively with others.

2.1 describe the reasons for having boundaries when interacting with others
2.2 give examples of boundaries in interpersonal relationships
2.3 outline different ways of making decisions.
