Classical Narrative Poem Knowledge Organiser Street Child

A knowledge organiser based on the novel Street Child’ by Berlie Doherty to support children when writing a ‘classical narrative poem’ (based on the workhouse and chimney sweeps), when studying the novel at a deeper level. It includes key vocabulary, grammar requirements, suggested composition, line openers etc. Used in Y5, so objectives link to Y5/6 curriculum requirements.
