I made this codebreaker activity for my Year 11 students as a revision task for Paper 1. They are studying the AQA trilogy course and are doing combined science (although the content is the same for the separate sciences).
The topics include electricity (circuit diagrams symbols), nuclear radiation (types, ionising power and hazards), the parts of a plug, the main components of a power station, non-renewable and renewable energy resources, GPE, EPE and KE calculations, the plum pudding model, states of matter and series and parallel circuits.
In addition to this resource you will need combination locks, plastic boxes, sweets/prizes and the resources printed for the students to use.
